I am a second year teacher hoping for to “get better” at what I do this year. There are so many things I want to do in the classroom that I haven’t quite been able to figure out. I am hoping to actually keep up this blog so that I can learn things from the many other educators out there who have more experience.

Besides teaching freshman, sophomore, and AP English at my school, I am also co-sponsor of the Drama Club. I choreograph the musical, direct the spring play, and run the fall variety show.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my new husband, relaxing with family and friends, watching movies (detective shows and BBC movies are my favorites), cooking vegetarian dishes, and sometimes doing Pilates or yoga.
